MEADOW GOLD MACK, THE FRIENDLY LUMBERJACK

LOCATED AT MEADOW GOLD MACK’S ROUTE 66 OUTPOST

Meadow Gold Mack, the friendly lumberjack, began life in the 1960s in Crystal Lake, Illinois in front of a lumberyard. Like many “giants,” the lumberjack giant was eventually sold and moved to a new location. He was stored here in Tulsa in a warehouse for a few years, and brought back to life in 2024 to stand tall in front of Meadow Gold Mack’s Route 66 Outpost, a new retail store owned by Mary Beth Babcock. Mary Beth also owns Buck Atom’s Cosmic Curios across the street as well as Buck’s Vintage. This area of the Meadow Gold District has become known as the Land of the Giants.

Mack stands 20 feet tall, and his custom axe was created by renowned “giant” maker, Mark Cline. Mack is surrounded by a large forest and mountains mural (look for Bigfoot!) that makes him look right at home.
